Comment / They don't come much sleeker than this!

Comment / This Gulfstream V arrived from Taif in Saudi Arabia just after midday, and then departed on to Los Angeles about an hour and a half later. Recently re-registered from HZ-MS5.

Comment / Great scheme on this one, but I'm struggling to work out what it portrays? Delivered only in March earlier this year and seen departing here to Catania.

Comment / Just starting her take off roll down a very wet runway 26, kicking up some spray as she goes.

Comment / G-MONB was one of the first Boeing 757s around, delivered to Monarch on this very stretch of tarmac on the 21st March 1983. With the first deliveries of the aircraft from Boeing only beginning at the end of December of 1982, only two carriers - British Airways and Eastern Air Lines - were flying 757s by this time. Today Monarch continues to operate seven examples of the type to all sorts of destinations.

Comment / Glad to be down! After flying through a thunderstorm and being struck by lightening whilst on approach into Luton, EI-DLK then encountered another storm cell right over the airfield and had to perform a go-around due to the poor visibility. She eventually landed successfully the second time round.

Comment / Having arrived from Florence an hour earlier, this Learjet was soon back on the runway again leaving for Nice.

Comment / Operating on behalf of Aer Arann today, seen departing here to the Isle of Man.

Comment / One of many NetJets flights that Luton sees every day, CS-DRK departs runway 26 to Ibiza.

Comment / Having been parked up over at Harrods for most of the day, VP-CUB departed at 1516 to Nice.

Comment / It seems that this Gulfstream II is quite a rarity, with very few other photos of it on the web! It appears that it has recently been repainted, as the few shots that I could find all show it in the golden United Breweries scheme. Now the only reference to United Breweries is a small sticker on the nose.
